						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">Authority</span> may, directly or through a <span class="dictionary">participating institution</span> as its agent, acquire by (i) purchase solely from funds provided under the provisions of this article, (ii) gift, or (iii) devise, such lands, structures, property, real or personal, rights, rights-of-way, air rights, franchises, easements, and other interests in lands, including lands lying under water and riparian rights, that are located within the Commonwealth as it may deem necessary or convenient for the acquisition, construction, or operation of a <span class="dictionary">project</span>, upon such terms and at such prices as it deems reasonable and can be agreed upon between it and the owner of the property and take title to the property in the name of the <span class="dictionary">Authority</span> or any <span class="dictionary">participating institution</span> as its agent.</p></section></text><history>1972, c. 686, &#xA7; 23-30.44; 2016, c. 588; 2017, c. 314.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
