						<section><p>An individual appointed as a campus police officer or a member of an auxiliary police force shall exercise his powers only as long as he remains employed or activated by the institution named in the <span class="dictionary">order</span> of the appointment. The appointment <span class="dictionary">order</span> entered by the <span class="dictionary">circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">court</span> shall automatically be revoked upon the termination of the employment of the officer or member at the institution and may be revoked by the <span class="dictionary">court</span> for malfeasance, misfeasance, or nonfeasance. The institution shall notify the <span class="dictionary">court</span> upon termination of the employment of the officer or member at the institution.</p></section></text><history>1977, c. 79, &#xA7; 23-237; 1991, c. 711; 2016, c. 588.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
