						<section><p>Any county, city, or town made a <span class="dictionary">defendant</span> in any <span class="dictionary">civil action</span> challenging the legality of its <span class="dictionary">election district</span> boundaries shall immediately notify the <span class="dictionary">Attorney General</span> of the pending <span class="dictionary">civil action</span> for review pursuant to &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Legal service in certain redistricting proceedings" href="/2.2-508/">2.2-508</a>.</p></section></text><history>1995, c. 249.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
