						<section><p>If the <span class="dictionary">State Board</span> has not received the abstracts of votes from any county or city within 10 days after any <span class="dictionary">election</span>, it shall dispatch a <span class="dictionary">law</span>-enforcement officer to obtain a copy of the abstract from the official having charge thereof. That official shall immediately, on demand of the officer, make out and deliver to him the copy required, and the officer shall deliver the abstract to the <span class="dictionary">State Board</span> without delay.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 24-284; 1970, c. 462, &#xA7; 24.1-153; 1993, c. 641; 2024, c. 738.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
