						<section id="A"><p><span class="prefix-number">A.</span> The <span class="dictionary">Commission</span> shall <span class="dictionary">issue</span> all licenses on an annual basis. All licenses shall be valid from January 1 of each year or their later date of purchase and expire on December 31 of the year in which issued. <a id="paragraph-223011" class="section-permalink" href="https://vacode.org/28.2-229/#A"><i class="fa fa-link"/></a></p></section>
						<section id="B"><p><span class="prefix-number">B.</span> Refunds shall not be made or prorated if the <span class="dictionary">fishing</span> effort is reduced, or seasons are closed (i) in <span class="dictionary">order</span> to promote conservation of the <span class="dictionary">fisheries</span> or (ii) due to natural conditions. Refunds shall not be made for any license that is suspended or revoked.
