						<section id="A"><p><span class="prefix-number">A.</span> It is unlawful for any person to take, catch, transport, sell, offer for sale, remove, receive, keep or store <span class="dictionary">shellfish</span> from condemned areas, or <span class="dictionary">relay</span> <span class="dictionary">shellfish</span> taken from such areas, until the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> of Marine Resources or his designee has issued a special permit. The permittee shall carry the permit when engaged in such operation. <a id="paragraph-238622" class="section-permalink" href="https://vacode.org/28.2-810/#A"><i class="fa fa-link"/></a></p></section>
						<section id="B"><p><span class="prefix-number">B.</span> It is unlawful for any person to take or remove <span class="dictionary">shellfish</span> from private grounds in condemned areas without written authority in his <span class="dictionary">possession</span> from the owner or lessee, in addition to the permit required by subsection A of this section. <a id="paragraph-238623" class="section-permalink" href="https://vacode.org/28.2-810/#B"><i class="fa fa-link"/></a></p></section>
						<section id="C"><p><span class="prefix-number">C.</span> It is unlawful for any person to transport, <span class="dictionary">relay</span>, or move <span class="dictionary">shellfish</span> from condemned areas after sunset or before sunrise, except by motor vehicle properly <span class="dictionary">sealed</span> as required by &#xA7; <a class="law" title="Sealing motor vehicles used in transporting" href="/28.2-812/">28.2-812</a>.
