						<section><p>When taken in accordance with the provisions of <span class="dictionary">law</span> or <span class="dictionary">regulation</span>, muskrat, opossum, rabbits, raccoon and squirrels may be bought and sold during the open hunting season only, but the hides, furs or pelts of <span class="dictionary">fur-bearing animals</span> legally taken and possessed, and the carcass of any fur-bearing animal may be sold at any time in accordance with &#xA7;&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Unlawful to deal in furs without a permit" href="/29.1-400/">29.1-400</a> through <a class="law" title="Forfeiture of furs" href="/29.1-407/">29.1-407</a>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 29-154; 1977, c. 377; 1980, c. 494; 1987, c. 488; 1994, c. 436; 1999, c. 204.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
