						<section><p>Nothing in this chapter shall require the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> to report for <span class="dictionary">prosecution</span>, or institute seizure proceedings, where the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> considers the violations of this chapter to be <span class="dictionary">minor</span>. In such cases, the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> may serve a suitable notice of warning in writing, when he believes that the public interest will be best served by so doing.</p></section></text><history>1974, c. 647, &#xA7; 3.1-126.8; 1994, c. 649; 2008, c. 860.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
