						<section><p>Any <span class="dictionary">lot</span> of agricultural, vegetable, flower, tree and shrub, <span class="dictionary">lawn and turf seeds</span>, <span class="dictionary">mixtures</span> of such seeds, or <span class="dictionary">screenings</span> sold, offered for <span class="dictionary">sale</span>, or held with <span class="dictionary">intent</span> to sell contrary to the provisions of this article shall be subject to seizure on complaint of the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> to the appropriate <span class="dictionary">court</span>. If the <span class="dictionary">court</span> finds the seeds, <span class="dictionary">mixtures</span> of seeds, or <span class="dictionary">screenings</span> in violation of this article and <span class="dictionary">orders</span> condemnation, such seeds, <span class="dictionary">mixtures</span> of seeds, or <span class="dictionary">screenings</span> shall be denatured, processed, destroyed, relabeled, or otherwise disposed of; provided, that the <span class="dictionary">court</span> first allows the claimant an opportunity to apply for the release of the seeds, <span class="dictionary">mixtures</span> of such seeds, or <span class="dictionary">screenings</span>, or permission to condition or relabel to bring the <span class="dictionary">material</span> into compliance.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 3-219.10; 1958, c. 483; 1966, cc. 9, 702, &#xA7; 3.1-272; 1994, c. 577; 2008, c. 860.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
