						<section><p>If the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> finds in any room, building, vehicle of transportation, or other structure, any meat, seafood, poultry, vegetable, fruit, or other perishable articles of food, which are unsound or contain any filthy, decomposed, or putrid substance, or that may be poisonous or deleterious to health or otherwise unsafe, then the articles of food shall be declared to be a nuisance, and the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> shall condemn or destroy the unsafe articles of food or render the unsafe articles of food to be unsalable as human food.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 3-311; 1966, c. 702, &#xA7; 3.1-391; 2008, c. 860.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
