						<section><p>Any person who has been convicted of a violation of any <span class="dictionary">law</span> concerning abuse, neglect, or cruelty to <span class="dictionary">animals</span> that sells, offers for sale, or trades any <span class="dictionary">companion animal</span> is guilty of a Class 1 <span class="dictionary">misdemeanor</span>.
