						<section><p>Any member of the General Assembly, any clerk thereof or his assistants, the Lieutenant Governor or the sergeant-at-arms of the Senate or the House who is alleged to have committed a criminal <span class="dictionary">offense</span> as defined in &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Felonies, misdemeanors and traffic infractions defined" href="/18.2-8/">18.2-8</a>, shall be subject at any time to be charged, arrested, prosecuted and imprisoned for such <span class="dictionary">offense</span>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1919, &#xA7; 300; 1975, c. 427; 1997, c. 471.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
