						<section><p>Within thirty calendar days of becoming contractually obligated to acquire any medical equipment for the provision of cardiac catheterization, computed tomographic (CT) scanning, stereotactic radiosurgery, lithotripsy, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), magnetic source imaging (MSI), open heart surgery, positron emission tomographic (PET) scanning, radiation therapy, stereotactic radiotherapy, proton beam therapy, or other specialized service designated by the <span class="dictionary">Board</span> by regulation, any <span class="dictionary">person</span> shall register such purchase with the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> and the appropriate <span class="dictionary">regional health planning agency</span>.</p></section></text><history>1999, cc. 899, 922; 2000, c. 931; 2009, c. 175.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
