						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> shall, upon request and without charge, provide technical assistance to <span class="dictionary">owners</span> regarding the most appropriate source of <span class="dictionary">water supply</span> and the best method of assuring <span class="dictionary">pure water</span>, but the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> shall not prepare plans, specifications or detailed estimates for such <span class="dictionary">owners</span>. The technical assistance provided by this section shall be exclusive of the <span class="dictionary">Waterworks</span> Technical Assistance Program required by &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Waterworks operation fee required; special fund established; certain technical assistance program to be provided" href="/32.1-171.1/">32.1-171.1</a>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 62.1-49; 1964, c. 475; 1968, c. 659; 1979, c. 711; 1992, c. 804.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
