						<section id="A"><p><span class="prefix-number">A.</span> The Governor is authorized, subject to the appropriation of funds, to enter into agreements with the federal government providing for discontinuance of the federal government&#x2019;s responsibilities with respect to sources of <span class="dictionary">ionizing radiation</span> and the assumption thereof by this Commonwealth. <a id="paragraph-239219" class="section-permalink" href="https://vacode.org/32.1-235/#A"><i class="fa fa-link"/></a></p></section>
						<section id="B"><p><span class="prefix-number">B.</span> Any <span class="dictionary">person</span> who, on the effective date of an agreement under subsection A, except those exempted under &#xA7; <a class="law" title="Exemption" href="/32.1-228/">32.1-228</a>, possesses a license issued by the federal government shall be deemed to possess the same pursuant to this article.
