						<section><p>In <span class="dictionary">order</span> to prevent ophthalmia neonatorum, the physician, nurse or midwife in charge of the delivery of a baby or, if none, the first attending physician shall, immediately after the baby&#x2019;s birth, perform upon such baby the procedure prescribed by the <span class="dictionary">Board</span>.
