						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">Commissioner of Highways</span> and all employees under his direction may enter upon such lands as may be necessary in the performance of their functions and duties as prescribed by this article. Any person who hinders or obstructs the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner of Highways</span> or any assistant or agent of the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner of Highways</span> in carrying out such functions and duties is guilty of a Class 1 <span class="dictionary">misdemeanor</span>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 33-301; 1970, c. 322, &#xA7; 33.1-354; 2014, c. 805.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
