						<section><p>&#x201C;Credit involuntary unemployment <span class="dictionary">insurance</span>&#x201D; means <span class="dictionary">insurance</span> on a debtor in connection with a specified loan or other credit transaction to provide payment to a <span class="dictionary">creditor</span> for the installment payments or other periodic payments becoming due (i) while the debtor is involuntarily unemployed, or (ii) while the debtor is on an unpaid leave of absence during which employment does not terminate. Such term shall not mean any <span class="dictionary">insurance</span> defined in &#xA7;&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Credit accident and sickness" href="/38.2-108/">38.2-108</a>, <a class="law" title="Accident and sickness" href="/38.2-109/">38.2-109</a> or &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Credit" href="/38.2-122/">38.2-122</a>.</p></section></text><history>1993, c. 774; 2000, c. 526.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
