						<section><p>The provisions of &#xA7;&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Acquisition of control of insurers" href="/38.2-1323/">38.2-1323</a> through <a class="law" title="Time for hearing; order of Commission" href="/38.2-1327/">38.2-1327</a> shall not apply to any acquisition that the <span class="dictionary">Commission</span>, by <span class="dictionary">order</span>, exempts from those sections. Acquisitions granted exemption shall include those which (i) have not been made or entered into for the purpose of and do not have the effect of changing or influencing the control of a domestic <span class="dictionary">insurer</span>, or (ii) otherwise are not comprehended within these sections.</p></section></text><history>1977, c. 414, &#xA7; 38.1-178.1:7; 1986, c. 562.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
