						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span> of <span class="dictionary">delinquency proceedings</span> shall be determined by general <span class="dictionary">law</span>, except that if the <span class="dictionary">Commission</span> files a <span class="dictionary">delinquency proceeding</span> application, it shall be filed with the <span class="dictionary">Circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">Court</span> of the City of Richmond. Unless otherwise provided, all <span class="dictionary">delinquency proceedings</span> shall be conducted as a suit in <span class="dictionary">equity</span>.</p></section></text><history>1952, c. 317, &#xA7; 38.1-128; 1986, c. 562.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
