						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">Commission</span>, by <span class="dictionary">order</span>, may suspend or modify the filing requirement of this chapter for any kind of <span class="dictionary">insurance</span> or subdivision or combination of <span class="dictionary">insurance</span>, or for classes of risks, where the <span class="dictionary"><span class="dictionary">rates</span></span> for the <span class="dictionary">insurance</span> cannot practicably be filed before they are used. The <span class="dictionary">order</span> shall be made known to <span class="dictionary">insurers</span> and <span class="dictionary">rate service organizations</span> affected by it. The <span class="dictionary">Commission</span> may make any examination it deems advisable to determine whether any <span class="dictionary"><span class="dictionary">rates</span></span> affected by the <span class="dictionary">order</span> meet the standards set out in subsection A of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Provisions governing making of rates" href="/38.2-2005/">38.2-2005</a>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7;&#xA7; 38-253.31, 38-253.77; 1952, c. 317, &#xA7; 38.1-259; 1986, c. 562.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
