						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">Commission</span> may review the records of any <span class="dictionary">insurer</span> to determine that the <span class="dictionary">insurer</span>&#x2019;s policies have been issued in compliance with the requirements set forth in this article. <span class="dictionary">Insurers</span> issuing coverage not complying with the provisions of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Group accident and sickness insurance definitions" href="/38.2-3521.1/">38.2-3521.1</a> and not complying with the provisions of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Limits of group accident and sickness insurance" href="/38.2-3522.1/">38.2-3522.1</a> shall be deemed to have committed a knowing and willful violation of this article, and shall be punished as set forth in subsection A of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Penalties and restitution payments" href="/38.2-218/">38.2-218</a>.</p></section></text><history>1998, c. 154.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
