						<section><p>The purchasing of <span class="dictionary">alcoholic beverages</span> and <span class="dictionary">mixers</span>, products used in connection with distilled <span class="dictionary">spirits</span> intended for resale, or products <span class="dictionary">licensed</span> by the Virginia Tourism Corporation as specified in &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="General powers of Board" href="/4.1-103/">4.1-103</a> intended for resale, the making of leases, and the purchasing of real estate by the <span class="dictionary">Board</span> under the provisions of this subtitle are exempt from the Virginia Public Procurement Act (&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Short title; purpose; declaration of intent" href="/2.2-4300/">2.2-4300</a> et seq.).</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 4-18; 1993, c. 866; 1996, c. 558; 2008, c. 135; 2016, c. 21.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
