						<section><p>If any member, agent, or employee of the <span class="dictionary">Board</span> shall be arrested, indicted or otherwise prosecuted on any charge arising out of any act committed in the discharge of his official duties, the <span class="dictionary">Board</span> chairman may employ special <span class="dictionary">counsel</span> approved by the <span class="dictionary">Attorney General</span> to defend such member, agent, or employee. The compensation for special <span class="dictionary">counsel</span> employed pursuant to this section, shall, subject to the approval of the <span class="dictionary">Attorney General</span>, be paid in the same manner as other expenses incident to the administration of this subtitle are paid.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 4-20; 1958, c. 542; 1993, c. 866.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
