						<section><p>Each application for a coal surface mining <span class="dictionary">permit</span> pursuant to <span class="dictionary">state regulations</span> shall include an operation plan and a reclamation plan, in such form and containing such information as the <span class="dictionary">Director</span> requires, including the information required under &#xA7;&#xA0;508(a) of the <span class="dictionary">federal act</span>, and meeting the requirements of this chapter and regulations adopted by the <span class="dictionary">Director</span>. An operation plan shall not include underground workings. An operation plan and a reclamation plan, as approved by the <span class="dictionary">Director</span>, shall be integral parts of the terms and conditions of a coal surface mining <span class="dictionary">permit</span>.</p></section></text><history>1979, c. 290, &#xA7; 45.1-236; 1984, c. 590; 2021, Sp.
