						<section><p>The amount by which the cost of <span class="dictionary">reclamation</span> exceeds the amount of the <span class="dictionary">operator</span>&#x2019;s forfeited <span class="dictionary">bond</span> shall constitute a debt of the <span class="dictionary">operator</span> to the Commonwealth. The <span class="dictionary">Director</span> is authorized to collect such debts, together with the cost of collection, through appropriate legal action or by declaring the forfeiture of other payments. Moneys collected through legal action, less the cost of collections, shall be deposited in the Special <span class="dictionary">Reclamation</span> Fund created pursuant to &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title=" Special Reclamation Fund" href="/45.2-1207/">45.2-1207</a>.</p></section></text><history>1981, c. 76, &#xA7; 45.1-186.2; 2021, Sp.
