						<section><p>For the purpose of this section, a &#x201C;logtrailer&#x201D; shall be any <span class="dictionary">vehicle</span> designed and used solely as an implement for hauling logs, lumber, or other forest products from the forest to the mill or loading platform. Log <span class="dictionary">trailers</span> shall be exempt from the requirements of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Inspection of motor vehicles required" href="/46.2-1157/">46.2-1157</a> if operation on the <span class="dictionary"><span class="dictionary">highways</span></span> in the Commonwealth does not exceed two miles and is made during daylight hours.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 46-317.1; 1954, c. 436; 1958, c. 541, &#xA7; 46.1-316; 1989, c. 727.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
