						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">governing body</span> of any county, city, or town may by <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> regulate the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, the parking of <span class="dictionary">vehicles</span>, and speed limits on parking lots which are open to the public and designed to accommodate fifty or more <span class="dictionary">vehicles</span>, but no such <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> shall conflict with state <span class="dictionary">law</span>.</p></section></text><history>1970, c. 338, &#xA7; 46.1-181.1; 1989, c. 727.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
