						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">governing body</span> of any county, city, or town may by <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> limit to no more than two hours the length of time of parking on streets, adjacent to commercial business areas, of <span class="dictionary">vehicles</span> with <span class="dictionary">gross weights</span> in excess of 12,000 pounds or lengths of 30 feet or more, unless such <span class="dictionary">vehicles</span> are actively engaged in loading or unloading operations or waiting to be loaded or unloaded or are engaged in or preparing to engage in utility or similar service work.</p></section></text><history>2007, c. 487.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
