						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary"><span class="dictionary">peer-to-peer vehicle sharing</span> platform</span> shall have sole responsibility for any equipment, such as a global positioning system (GPS), that is installed or placed in or on a shared vehicle to monitor or facilitate <span class="dictionary">peer-to-peer vehicle sharing</span> and shall agree to indemnify and hold harmless the <span class="dictionary">shared vehicle owner</span> for any damage to or theft of such system or equipment during a <span class="dictionary">vehicle sharing period</span> not caused by the <span class="dictionary">shared vehicle owner</span>. The <span class="dictionary"><span class="dictionary">peer-to-peer vehicle sharing</span> platform</span> has the right to seek indemnity from the <span class="dictionary">shared vehicle driver</span> for any loss or damage to such system or equipment that occurs during the <span class="dictionary">vehicle sharing period</span>.</p></section></text><history>2020, c. 1266.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
