						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">Board</span> shall employ an executive director who shall serve at the pleasure of the <span class="dictionary">Board</span>. He shall direct the affairs of the <span class="dictionary">Board</span> and keep records of all proceedings, transactions, communications, and official acts of the <span class="dictionary">Board</span>. He shall be custodian of all records of the <span class="dictionary">Board</span> and perform such duties as the <span class="dictionary">Board</span> may require. The Executive Director shall call a meeting of the <span class="dictionary">Board</span> at the direction of the chairman or upon written request of three or more <span class="dictionary">Board</span> members. The Executive Director, with approval of the <span class="dictionary">Board</span>, may employ such additional staff as needed. The annual salary of the Executive Director shall be at Level II of the Executive Compensation Plan contained in the Appropriation Act.</p></section></text><history>1995, cc. 767, 816.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
