						<section><p>Every <span class="dictionary">dealer</span> who has applied for temporary <span class="dictionary">license plates</span> shall maintain a permanent record of (i) all temporary <span class="dictionary">license plates</span> delivered to him, (ii) all temporary <span class="dictionary">license plates</span> issued by him, and (iii) any other information pertaining to the receipt or the issuance of temporary <span class="dictionary">license plates</span> which may be required by the <span class="dictionary">Department</span>. Each record shall be kept for at least one year from the date of entry. Every <span class="dictionary">dealer</span> shall allow full access to these records during regular business hours to authorized representatives of the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> and to <span class="dictionary"><span class="dictionary">law</span>-enforcement officers</span>.</p></section></text><history>1988, c. 865, &#xA7; 46.1-550.5:17; 1989, c. 727.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
