						<section><p>A <span class="dictionary">repairable vehicle</span>, as defined in &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Definitions" href="/46.2-1600/">46.2-1600</a>, shall be exempt from the remaining provisions of this chapter, provided that the insurance company responsible for repair (i) notifies the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> of each <span class="dictionary">late model vehicle</span> declared repairable, and that (ii) upon <span class="dictionary">discovery</span> by the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> that such vehicle was incorrectly designated as a <span class="dictionary">repairable vehicle</span>, the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> may require that vehicle&#x2019;s certificate status be corrected.</p></section></text><history>2012, cc. 64, 280.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
