						<section><p>In addition to the requirements of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Considerations for determination of issuance of license or certificate" href="/46.2-2011/">46.2-2011</a>, in determining whether a <span class="dictionary">certificate of public convenience and necessity</span> required by this article shall be granted, the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> may consider the present transportation facilities over the proposed route or within the proposed service area, the volume of traffic over such route or in such service area, and the condition of the <span class="dictionary">highway</span> over the proposed route or service area.</p></section></text><history>2001, c. 596.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
