						<section><p>In determining whether the <span class="dictionary">certificate of fitness</span> required by this article shall be granted, the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> may, among other things, consider the provisions of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Considerations for determination of issuance of permit, or certificate" href="/46.2-2108.6/">46.2-2108.6</a>, the applicant&#x2019;s character and fitness, and the applicant&#x2019;s compliance with federal, state, and local taxes.</p></section></text><history>2001, c. 596; 2011, cc. 881, 889.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
