						<section><p>Any person denied a license or whose license has been revoked, suspended, or cancelled under this article may <span class="dictionary">appeal</span> in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Process Act (&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Short title; purpose" href="/2.2-4000/">2.2-4000</a> et seq.). From the final <span class="dictionary">judgment</span> of the <span class="dictionary">court</span>, either the petitioner or the Commonwealth shall have an <span class="dictionary">appeal</span> as a matter of right to the <span class="dictionary">Court</span> of <span class="dictionary">Appeals</span>.
		While an <span class="dictionary">appeal</span> is pending from the action of the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> denying a license or from the <span class="dictionary">court</span> affirming the action of the <span class="dictionary">Department</span>, the person aggrieved shall not drive a <span class="dictionary">motor vehicle</span> on the <span class="dictionary"><span class="dictionary">highways</span></span> of the Commonwealth.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 46-360; 1958, c. 541, &#xA7; 46.1-367; 1960, c. 511; 1973, c. 544; 1984, c. 703; 1986, c. 615; 1989, c. 727; 1990, c. 418.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
