						<section><p>If the <span class="dictionary">owner</span> of a <span class="dictionary">vehicle</span> or his duly authorized <span class="dictionary">attorney-in-<span class="dictionary">fact</span></span> make a sufficient showing by providing an <span class="dictionary">affidavit</span> stating that the <span class="dictionary">vehicle</span> identification information provided on the application for certificate of title, the certificate of origin, manufacturer&#x2019;s statement of origin, or title, as the case may be, forwarded to the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> by any means generally allowed, was incorrect, the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> may take all actions necessary to correct the error.</p></section></text><history>2005, c. 283.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
