						<section><p>On receipt of an application and written <span class="dictionary">evidence</span> that the applicant is a member of any of the following military veterans&#x2019; organizations, the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> shall <span class="dictionary">issue</span> special <span class="dictionary">license plates</span> to the members of the following organizations: the Legion of Valor of the USA, the Marine Corps League, the Retired Officers Association, the Veterans of the Battle of Iwo Jima, and the Vietnam Veterans of America.
		The provisions of subdivisions 1 and 2 of subsection B of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Special license plates, generally" href="/46.2-725/">46.2-725</a> shall not apply to <span class="dictionary">license plates</span> issued to members of the Legion of Valor of the USA under this section.</p></section></text><history>1995, c. 747; 1996, c. 1026; 1997, cc. 774, 816; 2000, cc. 75, 111; 2002, c. 90; 2003, c. 921; 2004, c. 984.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
