						<section><p>Intentional violations of &#xA7;&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Purchases by agencies, localities, and certain nonprofit organizations" href="/53.1-47/">53.1-47</a> through <a class="law" title="Evasion by variance from specifications of Director" href="/53.1-49/">53.1-49</a> and &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Procedure for purchases" href="/53.1-52/">53.1-52</a> by any such <span class="dictionary">department</span>, institution or agency, continued after notice from the Governor to desist, shall constitute malfeasance in office, and shall subject the officer or officers responsible for such violations to suspension or removal from office, as may be provided by <span class="dictionary">law</span> in other cases of malfeasance.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 53-72; 1982, c. 636.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
