						<section><p>A practitioner of the healing arts shall not sell or <span class="dictionary">dispense</span> controlled substances except as provided in &#xA7;&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Sale of controlled substances and medical devices or appliances; requirements for vision care services" href="/54.1-2914/">54.1-2914</a> and <a class="law" title="Authority to license and regulate practitioners; permits" href="/54.1-3304.1/">54.1-3304.1</a>.
