						<section><p>This chapter shall not be construed to apply (i) to poisons used for the control of insects, <span class="dictionary">animal</span> pests, weeds, fungus diseases or other substances sold for use in agricultural, horticultural or related arts and sciences when such substances which are poisons within the meaning of this chapter are sold in original unbroken packages bearing a <span class="dictionary">label</span> having plainly printed upon it the name of the contents and the word POISON and an effective antidote or (ii) to any <span class="dictionary">person</span>, <span class="dictionary">persons</span>, corporations or associations engaged in the business of selling, making, <span class="dictionary">compounding</span> or manufacturing industrial chemicals for distribution or <span class="dictionary">sale</span> at wholesale or for making, <span class="dictionary">compounding</span> or manufacturing other products.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 54-403.1; 1958, c. 551; 1970, c. 650, &#xA7; 54-524.4; 1988, c. 765.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
