						<section><p>Every place of public accommodation, as defined in subsection A of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Nondiscrimination in places of public accommodation; definitions" href="/2.2-3904/">2.2-3904</a>, may make epinephrine available for administration. Pursuant to an <span class="dictionary">order</span> or standing protocol issued by the <span class="dictionary">prescriber</span> within the course of his professional practice and in accordance with policies and guidelines established by the Department of Health, any employee of a place of public accommodation, as defined in subsection A of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Nondiscrimination in places of public accommodation; definitions" href="/2.2-3904/">2.2-3904</a>, who is authorized by a <span class="dictionary">prescriber</span> and trained in the administration of epinephrine may possess and <span class="dictionary">administer</span> epinephrine to a <span class="dictionary">person</span> present in the place of public accommodation believed in good faith to be having an anaphylactic reaction.</p></section></text><history>2020, c. 556; 2024, c. 465.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
