						<section><p>No person shall conduct or <span class="dictionary">pilot</span> a vessel to or from sea, or to or from any port or place in Virginia unless he is licensed under this chapter.
		Warrants for persons violating this section may be issued by any <span class="dictionary">magistrate</span>, upon the <span class="dictionary">oath</span> of any <span class="dictionary">party</span> complaining, and shall be returnable to the <span class="dictionary">Circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">Court</span> of the City of Norfolk. After a <span class="dictionary">bond</span> <span class="dictionary">hearing</span> held pursuant to Chapter 9 (&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Definitions" href="/19.2-119/">19.2-119</a> et seq.) of Title 19.2, the <span class="dictionary">bond</span> shall be returned by the judicial officer to the <span class="dictionary">circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">court</span> of the City of Norfolk, which shall have <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span> for <span class="dictionary">trial</span> of such <span class="dictionary">misdemeanor</span>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 54-571; 1988, c. 765.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
