						<section><p>Whenever the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> has information concerning amounts properly chargeable to any collecting or receiving officer by reason of the <span class="dictionary">fact</span> that such collecting officer has been delivered an assessment of state taxes for collection, or otherwise, the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> shall as soon as practicable advise the Comptroller thereof so that he may make the proper entries in his books.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 58-48; 1984, c. 675.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
