						<section><p>In no event shall a locality require an applicant for a license issued under this chapter to provide a social security number as part of his application if such applicant has been issued a federal employer identification number and provides that number to the locality instead. Additionally, if the applicant supplies a valid federal employer identification number, the locality shall not be required to determine the residency status of the applicant.</p></section></text><history>2020, c. 258.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
