						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">Commission</span> shall be represented in all legal matters by general <span class="dictionary">counsel</span> hired by the <span class="dictionary">Commission</span>; however, the employment of such <span class="dictionary">counsel</span> shall be subject to the approval of the <span class="dictionary">Attorney General</span>. The compensation for such general <span class="dictionary">counsel</span> shall be paid out of the funds appropriated for the administration of the <span class="dictionary">Commission</span>. No <span class="dictionary">member</span> of the General Assembly while serving as a <span class="dictionary">member</span> nor any <span class="dictionary">person</span> associated with such <span class="dictionary">member</span>&#x2019;s <span class="dictionary">law</span> practice shall be employed as general <span class="dictionary">counsel</span>.</p></section></text><history>1988, c. 855.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
