						<section><p>Solely for the purpose of a buyer asserting claims and defenses pursuant to 15 U.S.C. &#xA7;&#xA0;1666i, a transaction shall be presumed to have occurred at the mailing address most recently provided by the <span class="dictionary">cardholder</span> to the card <span class="dictionary">issuer</span>, without regard to the location where the last act necessary for the formation of the <span class="dictionary">contract</span> between the <span class="dictionary">cardholder</span> and the <span class="dictionary">party</span> honoring the card took place.</p></section></text><history>2004, c. 373, &#xA7; 11-33.3; 2010, c. 794.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
