						<section id="A"><p><span class="prefix-number">A.</span> The Authority may appoint, employ, dismiss, and fix and pay compensation to employees, officers, agents, advisers, and consultants, including financial and technical advisers, engineers, and public accountants within and without the Commonwealth and the United States without regard to whether such employees are citizens of the United States. The Authority shall determine the duties and compensation of its employees, officers, agents, advisers, and consultants without the approval of any other agency or instrumentality. <a id="paragraph-297552" class="section-permalink" href="https://vacode.org/62.1-132.7/#A"><i class="fa fa-link"/></a></p></section>
