						<section><p><span class="dictionary">Owners</span> of <span class="dictionary">establishments</span> that discharge <span class="dictionary">toxics</span> to toxic-<span class="dictionary">impaired waters</span> shall evaluate the options described in &#xA7;&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Definitions" href="/10.1-1425.10/">10.1-1425.10</a> and <a class="law" title="Establishment of pollution prevention policy" href="/10.1-1425.11/">10.1-1425.11</a> in determining the appropriate means to control such discharges. Prior to issuing or reissuing any permit for the discharge of <span class="dictionary">toxics</span> to toxic-<span class="dictionary">impaired waters</span>, the <span class="dictionary">Board</span> shall review and consider the <span class="dictionary">owner</span>&#x2019;s evaluation of the options in determining the conditions and limitations of the permit.</p></section></text><history>1997, c. 519.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
