						<section><p>For the purpose of securing a new birth certificate for a <span class="dictionary">child</span> adopted pursuant to the <span class="dictionary">laws</span> of the Commonwealth, the procedures set forth in &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Records of adoptions" href="/32.1-262/">32.1-262</a> shall be followed. The <span class="dictionary">Department</span> shall furnish a document listing all post-adoption services available to adoptive families to the State Registrar of Vital Records for distribution to adoptive parents pursuant to &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="New certificate of birth established on proof of adoption, legitimation, or determination of paternity, or change of sex" href="/32.1-261/">32.1-261</a>.
